This item is actually what I was looking for. Not so large like an opening for a chicken feeder but still large enough for my quail. It’s difficult to find what you’re looking for considering chicken raising is so much more popular but this item works perfectly for me.
Love these port feeders! I got a cereal box from Walmart and had my husband cut the holes. I put 5 ports in and that seems good! They do take some force to get the ports in and to get the elbow part of the port inside the hole (we thought we were gonna break the box). Once they are in they're not going anywhere! We didn't end up using any silicone or sealant of any kind since the feed wasn't coming out around the sides. Seller had great and quick response times! I inquired about different sized chicks for what sizes to order. I went with 1.5" (shown in pic with 3&4wk old chicks) and also purchased 2" for when they get bigger. They are ok with this size now but will be getting the bigger sized ones ready this week. Overall, they're great and love them!!
