Quail Egg Frittata

A quick, protein-packed breakfast featuring delicate Coturnix quail eggs with fresh vegetables and melty cheddar cheese.

Ingredients

  • 10 quail eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper together in a bowl.
  2. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Saute onion and bell pepper until soft (about 3-4 mins).
  4. Pour egg mixture into skillet and stir gently.
  5. Cook until nearly set, sprinkle cheese, and broil for 1-2 mins until top browns.

Nutrition: 220 cal, 14g protein, 16g fat, 4g carbs

Serving Tip: Pairs well with fresh toast or salad.

Alternate Method: Bake in muffin tins for mini frittatas.
