A quick, protein-packed breakfast featuring delicate Coturnix quail eggs with fresh vegetables and melty cheddar cheese.
Ingredients
- 10 quail eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper together in a bowl.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Saute onion and bell pepper until soft (about 3-4 mins).
- Pour egg mixture into skillet and stir gently.
- Cook until nearly set, sprinkle cheese, and broil for 1-2 mins until top browns.
Nutrition: 220 cal, 14g protein, 16g fat, 4g carbs
Serving Tip: Pairs well with fresh toast or salad.
